BBC Studioworks’ Stage 8 housed the Virtually Famous set. Allowing the production flexibility, the studio catered to the various games and challenges within the show that celebrates social media superstars of past and present.
As a standard for most TV panel shows based out of the 7,550 sq ft Stage 8 a seven camera set-up, including six pedestal cameras and one jib were in place on Virtually Famous. All the laughs were captured in front of a 350-strong audience, the production also made full use of the studio’s HD galleries and ancillary facilities, including costume, make-up and dressing rooms, production offices, props workshops and green rooms.
